The Gibson, the Great Sandy Desert and the Great Victoria Desert are vast seas of sand and Spinifex that encompasses of Central Australia large enough to contain the British Isles twice over. For more than 40,000 years people have lived in these deserts, and have adapted to survive in one of the harshest environments known to man. They comprise many tribes with names that were created long before English became a language. They were the Pitjandjara, Aranda, Walbiri, Luritja, Pintubi and many others. In 1932, a small group of Pintubi began the long walk East. This dramatised one-hour documentary follows what happened to them, their culture and traditions as they unknowingly walked into a strange land that would forever change their lives.

The theme of this series is a universal one: animals and how they behave when they run wild, their affect upon man and the ecology. Early voyagers to the shores of Australia sailed in veritable Noah's Arks. Their ships carried domestic livestock that was often left on coastal islands to provide food for unfortunate castaways. Once European settlers stepped ashore on the East coast of Australia, the impact of domestic livestock on native species was devastating. The introduced species featured in the fist series are: Water Buffalo, Rabbit, Wild Horses, Donkey; Goats and Camels.

The leader was David, King and champion and of the recently united twelve tribes of Israel. The capital was Jerusalem - a name that has resounded down the ages. In more than 3000 years of turbulent history Jews, Christians and Muslims have all ruled what each sees as the Holy City. Sometimes they have loved it too passionately. Jerusalem has changed hands more often and more violently than any place on earth. The list of its conquerors reads almost like a roll call of history: Babylonians, Persians, Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Arabians, Crusaders, Turks Britons and Jews. This series is the story of Jerusalem, the city of Heaven and Earth

Shadowed by the savage beautiful snow peaks of the Himalayas, is the Kingdom of Bhutan. On all sides, natural barriers separate it from its neighbours - to the North, China, to the East and West stark mountain rangers stand between it and the hill districts of India. In the South the mountains spurs to end, abruptly running up against Sikkim, West Bengal and Assam. This series of four programs explores four people and the lives they lead in Bhutan from the monastery, to the mountains and valleys and in the forest.
