BEYOND THE WALL
1 x 46 minutes
In the 13th and 14th centuries, the Mongols ruled the world's largest empire, from the shores of Japan to the forests of Vienna. Today, the descendants of the once victorious Mongol hordes live on the remote vast grasslands of Mongolia beyond China's great wall. For centuries they have been nomadic wanderers carrying their homes across the vast grasslands of Mongolia, but now through education they are slowly joining the technological world.
Beyond the Wall takes us into a lifestyle so different to that which most of us know, from a traditional wedding to a close-up look at the daily life to a typically extended family, that it is like a glimpse of a lost and almost forgotten world.
